ABOUT

Hello all,

My name is Andrew (contact at bottom) and I'm putting myself out there as a bass player for any type of music. I currently play bass in an all original rock band called The Ancient Order ( theancientorder.ca ) but am looking to progress my skills and ability with new material and musicians. I am interested in joining an existing band with regular gigs rather than begin a new project.

I am presently located in the east end where I have my own fully equipped rehearsal / recording studio, which I could provide as a rehearsal location but I am also willing to travel for practice or shows. My past time is spent as an engineer / producer and is focused on "recording the rehearsal" aspect to bands, so there is an acute visual and audible reference as to where you and your band are right now.

I am also a rhythm guitar player and have been in various metal / punk bands over the last 10 years. I do however need to express myself in different ways and feel as a bass player I can add much more to an existing piece of music due to no limitations from my personal influences, but rather be propelled to see what I can bring musically to any project. That being said I do know my way around dropped tunings and scales for metal projects.
