I'm a trained vocalist specializing in jazz/blues currently gigging in and around the GTA. I hire sidemen - wonderful musicians, but I miss the thrill of working with a band - piano or/and guitar/bass/drums - who share with me a commitment in creating our own unique sound. I am not a diva. It's about the band. In performance, the singer doesn't have to be included on every tune. I'd want to rehearse/gig fairly regularly. I have a big basement. Hoping to hear from at least some who can transpose and write charts. Love performing tunes from the Great American Songbook, but enjoy throwing in R&B, blues, bossas and current tunes to make for a more interesting performance, creating unique arrangements.
