I prefer to sing jazz and am beginning to write my own stuff. Right now I am in a soul fusion band singing in a more blues style with some jazz and funk flavour. I also sing folk (which sounds wierd) but I do that with acoustic guitar so it comes out that way. I would like to work with people who can see where I'm going with my music. I enjoy singing standards but like to improvise and add my own flavour

Influences
I have been influenced by Ella Fitgerald. It was her that inspired the desire to sing. I also learned from Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Rait, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, Nina Simone.
