UPDATE: I've realized, after getting a few inquiries from people interested in harder rock, that my main tastes are '60s soul and pop music and '50s rock and roll (Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, etc . ....
.... EARLIER: I'm interested in playing with open-minded musicians. It may just be a one-off experiment, or it could lead to a full-time band. The ideal for me, as someone is late middle-age, is to work up a pool of like-minded musicians who enjoy getting together to play music -- and should a gig opportunity arise we can come up with an array of people who fit that situation. If another gig opportunity were to arise, it could involve another array of people. That would accommodate everyone's work and family schedules or holiday schedules or even musical tastes.

Influences
Too many to list. '50s and '60s pop, rock, soul, country and blues were what I grew up with. But I have a big ears -- I listen to a lot of music and have an open mind.

I have professional level equipment: guitars, basses, drums, hand percussion and small PA (suitable for rehearsal or quiet gigs).
