Bass Guitar, Drums.ABOUT
I'm a family man with a career who wants to play out a few a times a year with great musicians who are looking to have fun.
Not worried about the money aspect although we usually do well when we gig.
I've been very serious about the guitar since I was a kid. I used to gig a lot until my mid 20's, then a shift to family and work kicked in. Even though I didn't gig much for a while, I've always kept practising and updating my gear to continually improve.
If you're a good player, easy going, and love great classic rock songs get in touch with me at 416-937-5484 and we can talk. I have a singer who's fantastic and we are looking for a bass player and a drummer. While I'm not opposed to playing with younger guys, I find that I'm most musically compatible with people in my age bracket (currently 50 years old).
Along with my personal gear we have a really nice PA that can play well in small to decent sized bars. QSC and EV powered speakers, subs and monitors, Allan & Heath 16 channel mixer, etc.

Influences
Ritchie Blackmore, Eddie Van Halen, Billy Gibbons, David Gilmour, Jeff Beck, SRV, Page, Clapton, Satriani, Vai - anybody who's good!
While those influences may scream lead noodle/wanker, along with being able to solo well I have worked very hard over the years to become the best rhythm player I can be. I believe that if you can't nail a groove or a riff for the song, there's not many people who are going to be interested enough to pay attention to the solos.

EQUIPMENT
Guitars:
Les Paul Standard, Fender Strat, Custom Strat with Floyd Rose and humbuckers (EVH), AVRI Tele
Amps:
Metroamp '68 Plexi replica, Hiwatt DR103 replica, Marshall 4x12 with greenbacks, but don't worry, I have a great attenuator to keep the volume exactly where it needs to be.
I have a great pedal board but I don't like overusing effects. I love to add a little of this and that to accentuate a great base tone. I pride myself on sounding great and being able to fit correctly in the mix for a great overall sound.
