I fall along the lne of folk and country, I play acoustic guitar and write my own material which is what I perform, never been big on cover gigs. I'm still a solo artist because I've been solo all this time, so that I think also relates to my "description"

Influences
Now my influences start of with Melissa Etheridge who is considered a rock goddess, but has been folk in my eyes for the past 20 years and counting.
Jann Arden and Terri Clark have been huge as influences as well, to the point of actually meeting them both. Their songs and stories have guided me through lots and continues to do so.
Then of course other influences would be Blue Rodeo,Indigo Girls, all music has been some form of influence one way or another.
EQUIPMENT
Sad to say that due to some unfortunate circumstances I have lost all of my gear except for my guitar, a 6 string electric/acoustic Ovation. I had a fire in my house and it took everything in my studio (downstairs) and everything else in the home upstairs, but I will hopefully fix that problem.
