I Enjoy playing various styles of music.
I like singing and playing in harmony with other musicians, love the synergy of it.
Presently my only musical outlet is singing in the annual Christmas cantata with the Muskoka Advent Choir.
In the past I practised and performed as a guitarist singer with a large group of musicians on Canada Day at Couchiching Park in Orillia. The CANADA DAY STRUMALONG GROUP.
I was one of a female trio" SUGAR MOON"" and we performed at local fairs and community events I sang the tenor part and sometimes played my bongos or djemba drum for some songs.-
I was also a guitarist and backup singer for the "Priase and Woeship Team" At my church.
When I moved to Muskoka, I became distanced from my circle of musical friends and acquaintances.
I developed a solo set but it's not as motivating as playing with a dedicated group of musicians.
In 2013 I joined the 100 member strong "MUSKOKA ADVENT CHOIR" I sing Mitsu soprano.
We tour area churches each Christmas performing a lively cantata and donating funds raised to the Pregnancy Crisis Centre, Food banks, and area church ministries.
My stage experience has been mostly for charity and fun although I have received pay for some performances.
