I play a bunch of instruments by ear (though I'm not a virtuoso in any of them). I can learn songs quickly and relatively easily. I like to explore genres.
I like bands that are flexible, both in songs and in who plays what.
I'm fun and am easy going, and I can whistle.

I like good music.
(regardless of era or genre)
Though can't get myself to be fond of Chicago blues and Jazz (aside from jazz drumming which astounds me)
I like a loose, open, rusty sound.
EQUIPMENT
Vintage gear- '64 Round Badge drums (jazz sizes), '70s Ludwig 3-ply drums (big beat sizes), Gretsch '67 Tennessean. A variety of small wattage tube amps (Vox, Fender Princeton, Boogie- 15-22 watts), telecaster. Vintage button accordian, fiddle, mandolin, bass & amp, 115 year old piano, acoustic Guild guitar, bodhran, shakers, and a little green egg.
