I enjoy most styles of music. Blues/rock really gets me excited, though.
I used to play guitar years ago when Smoke on the Water was a hit song. I was pretty good but didn't know there were notes past the 5th fret..
My friends say I'm pretty good but I think that I still have a long way to go before I'm the musician that I want to be. I guess we're our own toughest critics.

Influences
Basically, I'm pulled toward unique, high energy blues rock styles. NO, I'm not even remotely interested in playing "Mustang Sally".
I'm a huge Bonamassa fan, Gary Moore was great!!! Hendrix. The Budda Heads, Big Head Todd, SRV, Popa Chubby, Govt Mule, Warren Haynes, Albert Collins, Jonny Lange. All (and hundreds more artists) have some reworked and original music that are attention getters with great grooves.
