Hi
My name is Harold, I am 45, and have been playing mostly rhythm acoustic and electric guitar for over 30 years. I have pro gear and great attitude, with stage experience. I sing as well, and am a song writer. Cara is 29, and she is a really good singer and song writer.
We have been putting a lounge act together, that combines some great and unique cover (like "I want you to want me", "Son of a Preacher Man", "Moondance", "For What it worth", blue rodeo, "something to talk about"), along with some of our own songs. Although we could try and forge ahead, we feel two things are missing...
1. the benefits of having a fuller sound with a bassist and a percussionist...and another more lead oriented guitarist.
2. being able to get people up dancing with some faster and slightly more groovin tunes
I stress a percussionist...and not a drummer! I find most drummers way too loud and overpowering. Our goal is to go minimalist...with finesse...and turn down...for a good soulful and tasteful lounge act...and not a bar scene rock band.
Our goal is to jam once a week till we are tight...then do at least 3 to 4 gigs a month.
