Playing in a cover band with old friends currently, but not really my thing. Had a band doing all originals in the city (Toronto) in the 90s, want to write again. Looking for drummer and bassist interested in creating original tunes here in Guelph.....so far, haven't met a soul, so I keep driving to the city. HELP. LOL
I included a couple of old original tunes - one from an alternative band I played with in the late 90s (Frank Girl), another super mellow tune I recorded a few years ago on my own (Letter), and a tune from the 80s that did well with in the CFNY talent search(finals in 87 ).

Influences
Old; (pre-20s) I played in cover bands doing Classic Rock - Stones/Zep/Doobies/Steely Dan etc etc.
Kinda Old: Loved alt 80s Bauhaus/Cult/Joy Division/Cure/Echo/Pixies etc. Play a lot of that in current cover band.
Kinda New: Thought Soul Coughing was briliant/Soundgarden/Ron Sexsmith/Jeff Buckley
New: Great Lake Swimmers/Madrugada/The National/lots of others.
Pretty much all over the map, really.
EQUIPMENT
Assortment of Electrics/Acoustic and a few pedals played through the Fender. Not really a "gear guy", just what I need to get by.
