After retiring 4 years ago I have been thoroughly enjoying my time spent playing guitar and singing. I currently jam in the basement to backing tracks and having a blast. I will down load backing tracks and add rhythm guitar and back up vocals where required. At times I can find a backing track with the backing vocals so I will use them. I try to play the songs with my own flavor. I record all my songs live with a Sony HDR MV1. This gives my music a live feel and there is no mixing in the music. My goal when recording, is to make sure if I was to play live at a gig or a party you would get exactly the same sound you heard on the video.
My reasoning for signing up with BandMix is to meet musicians and learn from them to develop my craft. If there is anything I can share I will be very happy help. Secondly, I would love to meet other musicians to jam with and develop new friendships.
