Amateur Part timer - Sax and Bass Guitar
Sax (from Sop to Bari) fairly competent. Bass Guitar - just learning (1 year so far)
Currently play with once a week concert band but would like the opportunity to play with a smaller group.
Never gotten paid to play music - just looking for a good time.
I've got a family and a full time job so I can't play odd hours.
Will read music and play by ear. Not a good transposer and weak theory skills

Influences
Sax: Jazz (dixie, big band, swing are my favorite). Experience with Klezmer and some Latin/European standards.
Never played Ska but would love to try
Bass Guitar: Would be willing to play any - but not yet good at improv/comping. Simple lines.
