(note that we are a group of engineers/ independent label who at the moment feel that the fee for industry listings is better spent on studio microphones)
What can we do for you?
Angry Cat Records provides a number of services to artists at all points in their careers. Some of the services we offer include:
-Demo quality recordings for artists on a budget (or for university/ college applications)
-Recording experience for artists whom have never been in the studio before
(a good alternative to spending tons of money and going into a high end studio only to find out that you don’t know how to play to a click track or that your songs weren’t quite “ready” for recording)
-Gear and engineering experience for those whom might want to mix/ master their own music but lack the hardware and experience to get their music into a DAW.
Rates:
-Tracking is $40 in an hour
-Mixing and mastering is $250 for recordings 12 tracks and under, an extra $40 per track over 12.

Rates are so low because:
1. We record in an unconventional manor, we operate out of a well set up home studio for mixing/ mastering but usually track at your jam place, school auditorium, home…. Really whatever providing the acoustics aren’t “terrible”. We do this because “we”, the operators of Angry Cat Records, are currently audio recording students whom are perfecting our recording skills. Our mixing/ mastering studio isn’t big enough to track for most of what we record, And we don’t have the capital for a million dollar studio with treated walls, $5000 microphones and vintage guitars (although we do have some nice guitars).

Note: all of the instruments in our "instruments played" section are instruments that we have readily available for studio work (although we also have a large library of MIDI instruments at our disposal).
