Influences
I always have trouble with the word "influence." To me, that implies writing songs and trying to replicate someone. I've tried to write songs that befit Yes, but I'm just not that good! Grew up on Kiss, moved on to Jethro Tull, Yes, Genesis.
EQUIPMENT
Aria electric bass, Jay Turner acoustic bass guitar, Anjo dobro, Casio keyboard, 15-watt Fender Rumble bass amp (what band will take a guy with a 15-watt amp? See, I'm seeking just one jam partner for starters!). Below, I say "under 10 gigs". That could mean zero, couldn't it, but I've done six gigs, all with the same band.
