ABOUT

I have many years of live and studio performance experience and I am now looking to sing lead vocals in an already existing band (cover and/or original) or to find other talented and dedicated musicians to start a project with. I am also available for session work.

Sharing stories through song is definitely one of my greatest passions and strengths and my goal is to do this as often and as well as possible. I have enjoyed impacting audiences through performance and music since I was a very young girl and my dedication to this earned me an Honours Bachelor of Music (in Voice) from Wilfrid Laurier University. I have an ongoing appetite for growth as an artist and I have a diverse performance resume which includes working as a session singer for a number of amazing Canadian artists, including Urban Waters, Chris Yenney, and Tommy Gilham.

Influences

I am very eclectic in my musical taste. My unique personal style has been influenced by musicians across many genres and eras.
My favourite genres to perform are folk, alternative rock, pop, funk, and soul.
This week, for example, I have been listening to a lot of music by Adele, Lake Street Dive, Carole King, Fitz & The Tantrums, Paul Simon, Lord Huron, Florence and the Machine, Lord Huron, and Stevie Wonder.

EQUIPMENT

The (non-vocal) equipment that I own include a Roland mic, full keyboard, amp, as well as an acoustic guitar.
