What might it sound like if you mixed Rammstein, Pink Floyd and The Deftones together? Sound like something that would float your boat? Is this the sorta kinda band that you are to help create? Read on!
Together with like-minded Believers, I would like to start a hard rock band on the industrial/progressive/metal ish side of things. I am a Christian and would ultimately like to end up with band mates with a common world perspective. But, I'm also interested in re-establishing my musical network so don't hesitate to drop me a line.
I honed my skills as a player on the Canadian club circuit with a few cover bands in the 90's. Lacking a clear vision, I decided to take a break.
In addition to handling the bass duties in past bands, I have served as road manager, business liaison, and assisted with direction and production. Similarly, I envision serving in the next band with the same sorts of tasks or whatever else needs doing.
I am looking for a vocalist and a drummer, for sure. I did the guitar parts on the demo songs I posted, but my first choice would be to be the bass player. If you're an interested outstanding bass player I could possibly take a run at the guitar duties. Finding the right group of guys is what's most important.
I've attached a few musical tidbits from songs that I have in pre-productions to give you a vague idea of the direction in which I'd like to go.

Influences
I have studied various styles of music, but at heart I am primarily a rock player. Some of my favorite bands include Rammstein, The Deftones, Alice In Chains, Chevelle and Faith No More. My approach to the bass very much reflects my taste in music. I have no problems playing a bass part written by another member of the band or compose my own bass line that compliments what the other instruments are doing.
